I became an entertainment journalist because I was born a fan-girl, and it was the most professional way to channel those passions. From watching Sesame Street’s Follow That Bird every day as a toddler to majoring in Music Industry at Northeastern University so I could interview Panic! at the Disco (which I did for Billboard in 2011), and finally moving to Los Angeles at age 21 to cover movies and TV after seeing The Social Network in theaters transformed me — fandom has been the guiding force of my entire life.
